Since I wasn't using my bulky carrier, I was back to holding my baby the old-fashioned way.
And that's when the real problem started. My wrists were KILLING me.
Holding a baby all day long is no joke. At first, I thought it was normal. "This is just part of being a mom," I told myself.
But then it got worse. My wrists started aching even when I wasn't holding her. I'd wake up with sore wrists. I couldn't open jars. I'd wince every time I picked her up.
And the worst part? I felt guilty for feeling this way. Like I should just be grateful and push through the pain.
But mama, we shouldn't have to choose between using a complicated carrier we hate or being in constant pain.
There had to be a better solution.
